PF Registration for Employers

Provident Fund registration is mandatory for eligible employers under the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

Who Needs to Register?

  • Establishments with 20 or more employees
  • Voluntary registration is allowed for establishments with fewer employees
  • Once registered, the establishment must continue registration even if employee count falls below 20

Registration Process

  1. Visit the EPFO Unified Portal
  2. Click on "Establishment Registration"
  3. Fill in the required details (establishment name, address, PAN, etc.)
  4. Upload necessary documents
  5. Submit the application
  6. Receive registration certificate and establishment code

  • PAN card of the establishment
  • Address proof
  • Bank account details
  • List of employees
  • Salary details
  • Registration certificate (for companies/LLPs)
